Make your work. When saving it on your device, label it using this format: 

  1. Your First+Family Name.  Winning certificates will be issued to this name so it must be correct.
  2. Student's age
  3. Town, country where school in situated
  4. Title of artwork or innovation
  5. For Art entries only: Art materials used (choose from the list below: material list), size of an artwork in cm (where applicable), and year it was created.


For example, you entries will be labeled and saved like this:

  • Innovation: John Smith, 12, Naivasha, Kenya, ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVIST, 2020
  • Art: John Smith, 12, Naivasha, Kenya, TOGETHER, acrylic on canvas, 50x70cm, 2020


It is important that you label your entries correctly, so your ownership is not lost. An entry which is missing any of the information listed, CANNOT be considered.

Upload entries:

Upload the saved files. No logins. No limits on files. No limits on file size - the higher-resolution the better. We accept jpg, jpeg, npg, gif, doc, docx, pdf and all video files.


When uploading, dont forget to put your correct email so we know where to contact you.


By entering MASK Awards, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. You should read them before entering.

What happens next:

  1. Open a free Participation Certificate, save it to your files, print it out, and insert your name.
  2. Winners will be invited to the MASK Awards Ceremony on 20 May at the Trademark Hotel in Nairobi. If you, or your representatives, fail to collect your prize at the Award Ceremony, the prize will be cancelled.
  3. If you have not heard from us by 10 May that means A) Your entry was not labelled correctly and we simply could not identify it, or B) We have limited amount of prizes but your entry might be still celebrated in some way in the future.
  4. Do you have another entry? Enter it. We would love to see it!
  5. Share your news! Let your friends and family know via social media that you have entered the MASK Awards.
