The Hanne Howard Fund School (HHF)
The HanneHowardFund school (HHF) is a grassroots organization focused on a single mission: to feed, educate and treat the most vulnerable children in Lenana, a slum community outside Nairobi, Kenya in Africa. The HanneHoward Fund invites MASK to organise art projects during the school holidays for their 130 kids.
December 2011 Holiday
The December holiday was all creative and fun for HHF-L kids. The holidays were long as usual and the art workshops lasted for four weeks. this time round, the HHF kids were involved in organising a musical in preparation for christmass celebrations. With the guidance of MASK art teachers, the kids were involved in the writing of script, making of costumes and props before using recycled materials. before performing the musical. The musical was based on the Birth of Jesus. The kids developed different characters from the Bible,animals, sunflowers, Joseph and Mary, The three Kings, the Angels, Pharaoh, Elizabeth and the shepherds.

August 2011
During the August holiday, MASK was invited to lead in organising the art project for the HHF-L kids. Painting, Drawing, Crafts, Collage and Embroidery. The project kicked off on 1ST of August and ended with an exhibition on 27TH Of August. The kids at HHF-L were grouped into seven groups. The groups were given the names of fruits. They included among others, pineapple, pears, Orange, Apple, Banana, e.t.c.
Each group was assigned an art activity.

April 2012 Holiday
During the April Holiday, MASK was invited by HHF-L to organise art project for their kids. The art project lasted for three weeks. Through the guidance of MASK teacher, the kids organised and performed an ancient Egyptian play. The kids were involved in the writing of scripts and making of costumes and props.
