CELEBRATING CREATIVITY OF YOUNG AFRICANS

2017 MASK PRIZE

 

Thank you to all who entered the 2017 MASK Prize!

 

More than 2000 works of outstanding quality were entered by schools and young people from all parts of Kenya, as well as from Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa.

 

The Award Ceremony took place at Michael Joseph Center in Nairobi on 27 April. More than 60 prizes were awarded in five categories. Read more below.

at MICHAEL JOSEPH ART CENTER, NAIROBI, KENYA

 

More than 70 prizes totalling 300,000SH were awarded to the winners of the 2017 MASK PRIZE at its Award Ceremony at Michael Joseph Center in Nairobi on 27 April. Jeff Koinange, the famous and legendary Kenyan broadcaster, opened the Awards in presence of the honourable guests such as the Marketing Director of Mabati Rolling Mills David Kimathi, and the Senior Assistant Director of Quality Assurance of the Kenyan Ministry of Education Majani Alex Tom who represented the Ministry's Permanent Secretary Dr Belio Kipsang, as well as the MASK Prize's Founder Alla Tkachuk and more than 400 guests who came from all parts of Kenya.
